Community Development 

Crouch NRC facilitates and supports meaningful community engagement through the building of social capital and a sense of belonging within the Hamilton Road Neighbourhood.  Our Community Development team works closely with the Hamilton Road Community Association, the Hamilton Road Business Association and other groups who contribute to the well-being of the Hamilton Road neighbourhood.

Hamilton Road Has Heart Event Series

Crouch Neighbourhood Resource Centre is pleased to announce we were selected for the My Main Street Community Activator program and has received $30,000 to launch the Hamilton Road Has Heart event series, bringing live music, art and cultural celebrations to the Hamilton Road neighbourhood.


From June to December, a series of community activations will take place, including: 

  • Live music pop-ups on Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in June, July and August, in partnership with the London Arts Council (550 Hamilton Road)

  • Pop-up markets featuring Urban Roots London produce and local visual and performing artists on Wednesdays from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in July and August (550 Hamilton Road)

  • Annual General Meeting on June 23 from 5-7:30 p.m. featuring the Antonio Alas Mariachi Band and Justin Maki.

  • A block party on July 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., in partnership with the London Public Library and the Digital Creative Arts Studio, featuring a free concert with acts such as Leanne Mayor and the Latin Power Band (Crouch Branch, 550 Hamilton Road)

  • A cultural celebration at East Side Grill on September 10th, in partnership with Simple Reflections for Artists (750 Hamilton Rd)

  • Harvest Fest craft fair on Saturday, October 8th from 10-4 at 525 Hamilton Road

  • Warm Winter Wishes: On December 10th, visit the Crouch Library Branch from 10 am to 2 pm to to take free family photos, warm up with a hot chocolate and bowl of chilli and enjoy live music. December 10th is also a great day to take a winter walk along Hamilton Road to see window murals at 10 community locations such as Casa Cubana, King of the Pigs, the Hamilton Road Senior's Community Centre and Safe Space. 


These events are designed to enhance community connection among residents of diverse socio-economic circumstances and draw new visitors to the main street area of Hamilton Road. For more information, visit the Centre, write to, or call 519-642-7630.

Good Food

Box Program

Good Food Boxes are available once a month and are a great source of fresh fruits and vegetables. Boxes include 6 seasonal produce items. This program is available to all. The more people who purchase, the more food we can source for everyone.

  • Visit us at Crouch Neighborhood Resource Centre or call (519)-642-7630 to place an order.

  • Pay for your first order two weeks in advance of the pickup date.

  • Pick up your box on the selected date (the last Tuesday of the month)

  • Pay for your next food box when you pick up your box
